We handpicked the Shiraz from the same vineyard as our 2023 vintage. We sourced our fruit from Broken View Estate in Rothbury, a vineyard which lies in the gentle rolling hills of the Hunter Valley. This pick was just the two of us on 21st January 2024. We destemmed the fruit, left whole berries, and wild fermented it in a cool space. It was a slow, gentle fermentation with daily hand punch downs, squeezing whole berries to release a little juice each day. Total of 21 days on skins. Pressed into stainless steel. Matured 10 months before bottling. No oak. Juicy - we recommend serving it chilled!
